Behind The Lens

I’m Sandi Ford, the person behind the lens at Unleashed Pawtraits, Dog Photographer based in Neenah, WI.

Having spent many years in the UK photographing babies and families, after I moved to Wisconsin in 2015 I wanted to return to what led me into photography in the first instance; animals!

In 2003 I was preparing and packing for an African Safari vacation and decided I had better buy a camera... so I purchased a little point and shoot.

After practicing on my beloved Border Collie at home, I discovered that the little camera wasn't going to cut it, and so I bought my first SLR.

Thus began my real passion... photographing animals.

I have always loved animals (more than people if I'm honest!) and over the years have owned dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, fish, horses and chickens...but right now I have my beautiful Keeshonds who have stolen my heart ❤️

In 2016 I created Unleashed Pawtraits, Dog Photography in Neenah, WI.

While I primarily focus on dogs, I'd also be delighted to welcome your cats, birds and 'pocket pets'!
